This Guide will guide you through pokemon Platinum until you get your first pokemon and battle your friend … platinum idiots guide
Due to a technical problem, I wasn’t able to show you how to locate Roark but this will point out to you where he is inside Oreburgh Mine ((Look for the red hat, he’s not that hard to miss.))
The newest edition of the Idiots guide takes us to the Oreburgh gym, now this battle is easy if you train for it… get to around Level 14 for your Starter and Level 13 for Budew.
Ok so now you guys and gals out there it’s back to the Idiots Guide as we enter the Eterna Forest armed with our much improved team of Pokemans as we go through this first dungeon of the game.
The Idiots Guide takes us to Sandgem Town where Professor Rowan gives you an all important item. Important information as my starter pokemon have nicknames: Piplup is now Pingu and Turtwig is now Snappy.
So moving onto the next small part of the game as opting to skip the going home bit and getting the two parcels which tells you that you need to go to Jubilife City. Instead I’ll be showing you how to catch a pokemon… it’s easy as cake actually.
The first encounter with your rival Barry as he challenges you as soon as you take the eastern exit out of Jubilife. His Pokemon Consist of: Starly Lv 7 and Turtwig/Chimchar/Piplup: Lv 9
The Idiots guide prepares to head north towards Jubilife City as we engage our first trainer battles and level up.
We continue the idiots guide as we prepare to go to Oreburgh City to face off against the first gym leader.
This is a side video that I did whilst in the Eterna Forest showing off the evolution of Turtwig to Grotle… this video also means that I will return my ass to the Diamond/Pearl Idiots Guide for the first time in ages.
